This past Friday (January 4th), SEX SLAVES drummer J Bomb underwent back surgery in a New York hospital to repair a degenerated / herniated disc in his lower back. He has since issued the following statement:

"My surgery was a success! The surgeon removed a rather large piece of my L4-L5 disc. Evidently everyone in the O.R. gasped at the size of the herniation. I'm home now recovering with the help of my wonderful girlfriend Deborah and family. I'm extremely sore and stiff and have limited mobilty. The doctor estimates a 4-6 week recovery period to strengthen up and regain a normal posture.

I'd like to thank all of you for the prayers and well-wishes! I'll keep you updated on my progress, as I'm looking forward to getting behind the drums and playing for you all real soon!"

Sex Slaves have suspended all live performances until J makes a full recovery.
