SHADOWS FALL To Co-Headline Sounds Of The Underground

While LAMB OF GOD are playing OZZFest and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE are rockin’ the Warped Tour, the last champion of the three so-called new American metal scene, SHADOWS FALL, will be kickin’ ass with Sounds Of The Underground.
The band will rotate in the co-headline slot with CHIMAIRA, EVERY TIME I DIE and an act yet to be announced. Following two years on the tour in a mid-day slot GWAR will headline the festival.
Here’s what Chimaira singer Mark Hunter had to say about the gig: “We played the first year of Sounds Of The Underground and we had a blast. This year we are going to up the production level and bring something special to our fans. Then we will get wasted every night with ETID and GWAR. See you this summer.”
Other bands on the bill include DARKEST HOUR, AMON AMARTH, ATHE ACACIA STRAIN, GOATWHORE, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, THIS IS HELL, NECRO, 2 CENTS, HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW and THE NUMBER 12 LOOKS LIKE YOU.
Additional special guests will join the tour on select dates. Sounds Of The Underground will Launch July 6th in Dallas and run through August 8th in Denver. Tickets will be available for presale starting April 25th at the festival’s website and will go on sale everywhere May 11th.
