SINERGY Burrned In Spain!
August 12, 2002, 22 years ago
SINERGY’s Kimberly Goss has been asked to start writing her own monthly column for Japan’s Burrn! magazine. She joins SEBASTIAN BACH, PAUL GILBERT and MARTY FRIEDMAN as one of four
international artists to have their own monthly column for the mag. In other news, the Rock Machina Festival in Spain has canceled Sinergy as part of their line up this year. Their explanation was due to the fact that Sinergy had played Soria Rock (also in Spain) two weeks before Rock Machina and the organizers of Rock Machina did not like that, so they canceled the band without even informing them. The band found out through fans. The organizers of Rock Machina told Sinergy that, "Any bands playing at Rock Machina are not allowed to play any
other festivals in Spain during the same year. We are very strict on our rules. Sorry, but maybe next year". It turns out that another band who performed at Soria Rock are also on the bill for Rock Machina, and have not been canceled. Sinergy apologizes to their fans, especially to those traveling from great distances. The band was really looking forward to playing there this year. If you have any complaints to the organizers you can contact Goyo Esteban at goyo@locomotivemusic.com.
