STARS' Serenity Expected During National Recovery Month In September

Legally named Rock Star and Super Star, have released two full song clips featuring Zak Stevens (CIRCLE II CIRCLE, SAVATAGE), Chris Caffery (TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA, Savatage) and Bruce Kulick (KISS), from their forthcoming CD titled Serenity that can now be streamed at this location.

The STARS' debut CD, titled Serenity, is a first-of-its-kind project spun to raise awareness of the ever-growing issue of substance abuse. Inspired by Super Star’s own battle for sobriety, the brothers wrote and recorded the material for Serenity alongside many of their musical heroes to show others facing the struggle that great things can come from the decision to stay sober., Serenity features guest appearances from icons including Cherie Currie (RUNAWAYS), Stevie Rachelle, (TUFF), George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB), Chris Caffery (Savatage, TSO), Carlos Cavazo (QUIET RIOT, RATT), Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER), Zak Stevens (Savatage, CIRCLE II CIRCLE), Jon Oliva (Savatage, TSO), Bruce Kulick (KISS, UNION), Howard Leese (HEART), Bob Kulick (MEAT LOAF), Lorraine Lewis (ex-FEMME FATALE, ROKTOPUSS), David Schultz (GOO GOO DOLLS, BERLIN), Veronica Freeman (BENEDICTUM), Ted Poley (DANGER DANGER), Todd La Torre (CRIMSON GLORY) and of course Rock Star aka Marc Kancler (guitars) and Super Star aka Kris Kancler (drums) and many more.

Release date for Serenity is expected during National Recovery Month in September. The digital distro version promises various versions of the track 'Do It For You'.
