STEVE VAI - South American Tour Planned For November

According to guitarist Steve Vai's official website, he and his band String Theories will tour South America this November. The routing is currently being mapped out, dates are expected to be announced this week. For regular updates check this page or go to this location.
As previously reported, Vai will be heading to Australia as a special guest on the Zappa Plays Zappa tour in late November/early December. Confirmed dates are as follows:

4 - Sydney - Enmore Theatre

Fans should note that Vai DOES NOT appear on stage for the entire show. Sound Theories aftershow passes are NOT valid on this tour.
Zappa Plays Zappa features Dweezil Zappa on lead guitar, and a phenomenal backing band including Joe Travers (drums), Billy Hulting (percussion), Scheila Gonzalez (keyboards, saxophone, vocals), Aaron Arntz (keyboards/trumpet), Pete Griffin (bass) and Jamie Kime (rythm guitar). Special guests on this tour of Australia include original Zappa band members Steve Vai, legendary drummer Terry Bozzio and vocalist Ray White who performed on countless Zappa albums and tours.
