SUFFOCATION Pays Tribute To Late DISGORGE Bassist Ben Marlin

New York death metal titans SUFFOCATION have issued the following statement regarding the recent passing of DISGORGE bassist Ben Marlin to cancer:
"Suffocation would like to share our condolences with Disgorge and the Marlin family. Once again we've lost another brother in the death metal community prematurely. Ben Marlin, bassist of Disgorge passed away on January 2nd, 2008. Suffocation will miss him greatly; we've toured and partied a great deal together. He was a true friend and supporter. Being in the Ggnre and seeing so many of our close friends and musicians passing recently, makes you realize that you can spend a lifetime fighting for death metal relevance and potential. He fought a hard battle, and definitely left his mark and impression on all those who knew him in the metal community."
