TANKARD - Cover Art Of Forthcoming Best Of Compilation Revealed, TANKWART Cover Album Re-Issued

As previoulsy reported, the album contains new versions of some old Tankard classics: 'Zombie Attack', 'Maniac Forces', '(Empty) Tankard', 'Don't Panic', 'Chemical Invasion', 'The Morning After', 'Alien', '666 Packs', 'Beermuda', 'Space Beer', 'Medley (Alcohol, Puke, Mon Cheri, Wonderful Life)', 'Freibier', 'Nation Over Nation', 'Two-Faced', 'Minds On The Moon'.
In addition, the limited edition (5,000 - 6,000 pieces) contains a Tribute To Tankard bonus CD with following bands: ABANDONED - 'Face Of The Enemy', COURAGEOUS - 'The Morning After', DOPPELBOCK - 'Freibier für alle', FATAL EMBRACE - 'Acid Death', FKÜ - 'Space Beer', FREZEEBEE - 'Poison', HATEWORK - 'Live To Dive', HYADES - 'Alien', IRREVERENCE - 'Beermuda', MANTICORA - 'Total Addiction', ODIUM - 'Sunscars', PARADOX - 'Zombie Attack', PARAGON - 'Two-Faced', SACRED STEEL - 'Empty Tankard', SCORNAGE - 'Away', SOLICITUDE - 'Planetwide Suicide', TASTE OF DOOM - 'Rectifier', TORMENT - 'Chemical Invasion'.
It will be released on August 31st through AFM Records.
In other news, AFM will re-issue the Tankard cover CD, Himbeergeist zum Frühstück (going under the TANKWART moniker) on July 13th. The album features metal / punk versions of old German folk classics like 'Sieben Fässer Wein' and 'Blau Blüht Der Enzian', and will feature a live version of the Tankard classic 'Freibier' as a bonus track.
