The 18th Annual Detroit Music Awards, held Friday night (April 17th) at the Fillmore Detroit. The show also featured the first reunion in 40 years of TED NUGENT with the original members of THE AMBOY DUKES, who received a Distinguished Achievement Award.
Nugent and company blasted through the group's hits 'Baby Please Don't Go' and 'Journey To The Center Of The Mind', then covered MITCH RYDER & THE DETROIT WHEELS' 'Jenny Take a Ride!' with Wheels drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek sitting in.
