Roadrunner recording group The Amity Affliction has announced plans for their first-ever North American headline tour. The Let The Ocean Take Me Tour begins September 19th at San Diego’s SOMA Sidestage and then travels through late October (see attached itinerary).

The Australian metalcore masters will be accompanied by a caravan of special guests, including For The Fallen Dreams, Obey The Brave, Favorite Weapon, Exotype, and Crossfaith. "After 6 tours of the United States we are stoked to finally embark on our first ever headline over here,” says The Amity Affliction’s Ahren Stringer. “We’re so stoked, we can't wait!"

The upcoming headline trek celebrates The Amity Affliction’s new album, Let The Ocean Take Me. The album includes the singles “Pittsburgh” and “Don’t Lean On Me”.

“(The album) is about really trying to find a positive in my life again,” Birch says. “Writing these songs was a very cathartic process, but I’m terrified of people listening to them and reading these lyrics because they’ll know exactly what I’m thinking. I’m hiding nothing.”
