Spain's Hall Of Metal has issued a new interview with Australia's THE RED SHORE. The following is an excerpt:

Q: Unfortunately, diving in your biography and finding the name of ALL SHALL PERISH, it is impossible not to read about the fatal car accident that struck you just before you released your first album. What could you tell us of those tragic times? And how could you overcome it and move on?

A: The time of the accident and everything that followed were almost surreal, everyone just dealt with things in their own ways, and in a way you never move on from things like that, you just develop experience to help you deal with certain situations. The best thing that could have happened for The Red Shore, was to regroup and go back on the road, which we did and now every 15 hour drive, every bad/good show, every song that we write will be inspired by them. They were and always will be a massive part of this band!"

Back in September, Australia's ABC News issued the following report:

The (former bassist) of a heavy metal band has been found not guilty of dangerous driving causing death over an accident that claimed the life of two of his band members on the New South Wales north coast.

Jamie Hope was driving a van carrying members of his band, The Red Shore, on the Pacific highway north of Coffs Harbour in the early hours of December 19th, 2007.

The van ran off the road and hit a tree, killing two men and seriously injuring three others.

Mr. Hope pleaded not guilty to five charges including dangerous driving causing death. His defence argued that it was not a case of dangerous driving but a tragic accident.

This morning a jury found him not guilty of all five charges. In the dock, Mr Hope bowed his head and cried silently.

He was embraced by members of his family and friends once the court was dismissed.
