THE SHOWDOWN - New Back Breaker Song Available

THE SHOWDOWN have posted a brand new track from their upcoming release, Back Breaker. Check out the song, “Achilles – The Backbreaker” which is currently streaming on the band’s MySpace page.
The track is from the band's upcoming album, Back Breaker, due August 19th on Solid State Records. The new record marks The Showdown’s Solid State debut.
The album art (pictured at left, click to enlarge) was designed by Invisible Creature (KORN, NORMA JEAN, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE).
Vocalist David Bunton commented on the new album: “Back Breaker is the sum of our band’s raw power, aggression, and total dedication to heavy metal. It’s all about our band getting what we do live on tape. Back Breaker is the record The Showdown made when we stopped caring about anything but heavy metal. If a riff is heavy, you don’t have to over think it. Just let it crush you. We are 100% dedicated to heavy metal and pushing ourselves to playing it as loud and rude as possible.”
