UK melodic thrash/death metallers THIRTEENTHS SIGN have announced the departure of lead guitarist Andy Berycz near the end of recording their new album Rise Of The Black Angel.

The band comment: “Drum, bass, rhythm guitars and vocals were completed during August with just Andy's rhythm and lead parts to be added later as Andy was on honeymoon during this time. However things did not go according to plan, and after some 'incidents' occurred during the second recording session tensions rose within the band resulting in Andy's departure a few days ago. Hopefully this should not delay the albums completion too long; recording could still be finished by the end of 2010.”

The band have already begun looking for a permanent replacement lead guitarist but as yet no-one has been chosen.

The band further state: “If anyone feels they have the necessary talent, a severe lack of ego and can easily commute to Kings Lynn, Norfolk UK then get in touch with band via website, MySpace or Facebook.”
