SLASH's bassist TODD KERNS (SIN CITY SINNERS) has issued his latest blog, an excerpt follows:

"Our final show with OZZY was in Jacksonville, Florida and it was kinda bittersweet. Ozzy, Sharon, the crew and band were amazing to us. They could not have been more accommodating and kind. I really wish I’d gotten to know Blasko and Tommy better. I have a lot of respect for those guys, not to mention Gus who has a very bright future ahead of him. I feel very fortunate to have made a friend of Adam Wakeman, Ozzy’s Keyboard player. Great man.

While backstage sorting through the giant headache of what was to be sent back to my house in Vegas and what was coming with me to Australia we had a very special guest wander on into our dressing room. I looked up and there he was. The Prince of Darkness himself. Ozzy F%#king Osbourne!

I can’t tell you what a trip that is. I have been listening to Ozzy, whether with SABBATH or solo, for most of my life. I have the utmost respect for him as an artist and a performer.

He shuffled in and hugged Slash and small talked with F bombs flying. Classic Ozzy. He shook our hands when Slash introduced us and was very kind. He is much quicker witted than people give him credit for. He’s funny and sharp as a whip. He just wanted to see us off on our last gig supporting him and with that he was gone as mysteriously as he appeared."
