D'Addario Strings caught up with TWISTED SISTER guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda recently and they talked about the roots of their art.

Says French: "When it comes to solo stuff, we come from an era where the guitar players were schooled as blues guitar players who took it to another level. And because they were blues guitar players first they play with a bit more soul. Blues and rock n' roll. - B.B. KING and HENDRIX was an extension of that and EDDIE VAN HALEN was an extension of that. And then it got all lost into some other world I don't want to comment on."
