Canadian thrash metallers UNTIMELY DEMISE will begin recording their first full-length album, City Of Steel, beginning on July 19th in Toronto, Ontario. EIDOLON / ex-MEGADETH guitarist Glen Drover. The band has also enlisted the artistic services of legendary American artist Ed Repka (Rust In Peace) to provide stellar cover art for the album.

"This record promises to exceed all expectations previously placed on the band by offering faster tempos and greater musical complexity, while still remaining aurally accessible to the listener. Metal fans will be lambasted with technical guitar work, fluid leads, and a bludgeoning rhythmic attack throughout the album."

The band is aiming for an early October release date on CD, vinyl, and digital formats, and is in the process of booking a major Canadian and American tour in support of the recording. They are also interested in shopping the album to a label that would suit the band’s needs, and are currently seeking a booking agent that is well-versed in the world of thrash/extreme metal.
