Sonisphere Knebworth is scheduled for July 30th to August 1st at at Knebworth Park, UK. Organizers have issued the following update:

Sonisphere Knebworth boasts exclusive headline appearances from IRON MAIDEN and RAMMSTEIN, plus Friday night headliner ALICE COOPER, IGGY & THE STOOGES, SLAYER, ANTHRAX, PENDULUM and more - with over 140 bands set to play - many of whom you will only see at Knebworth this summer. With a wealth of musical, comedic and other entertaining talent on offer, plus free music downloads for every ticket holder, the £132.50 weekend ticket price - which unlike most festivals carries no booking fee - is hands down the best value for money out there. Now Sonisphere reveals the details of each day’s line up, as day tickets - for those who can’t handle a whole weekend’s worth of fantastic entertainment - go on sale.

Although there are still many bands to be announced, the line up so far will appear as follows. On the Apollo and Saturn stages - where there will be no clashes, ensuring you can see every band on the two main stages - acts are listed from headliner to opener. On the remaining stages, bands are listed alphabetically (with Bohemia headliners on top).

Friday, July 30th - from 6 PM - The party gets started at Bohemia, where Bizarre will be hosting an evening of alternative cabaret and entertainment, to get everyone in the appropriate Rocky Horror mood that will be the evening’s theme. With loads of bands scheduled, plus Friday night headliner ALICE COOPER and his Theatre Of Death closing the evening, the first day at Knebworth promises to be an unforgettable one. Saturday, July 31st - From 11:15 AM - The first full day of Sonisphere kicks off with FAMILY FORCE 5 opening the Apollo stage, and sees exclusive appearances from APOCALYPTICA, ANTHRAX, MOTLEY CRUE, LACUNA COIL, PLACEBO and PAPA ROACH, plus a very special set from THERAPY?, who will play their Troublegum album in it’s entirety. Headliners RAMMSTEIN make their debut UK festival appearance, giving UK fans their first opportunity to see the German legends outdoors - where there is plenty of room for the enormous amount of pyro they have planned for this exclusive UK show.
