VH1 List The 100 Greatest Hard Rock Artists

On Sunday night (March 7th) US cable music station VH1 unveiled their list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Artists.
Ranked at #23 was IRON MAIDEN. The program aired clips of the band’s singles ‘Flight Of Icarus’, ‘Killers’ and ‘Wicker Man’, while frontman BRUCE DICKINSON issued commentary on his and other bands.
The Top 5 on the list were: #5 - METALLICA, #4 - AC/DC, #3 - JIMI HENDRIX, #2 - BLACK SABBATH and #1 - LED ZEPPELIN.
