November 6, 2011, 13 years ago
Greece's Rock Overdose recently conducted an interview with UFO guitarist Vinnie Moore. An excerpt is available below:
Q: After all these years in a great band such as UFO, what are your feelings? How are things going in the band? Any news?
Vinnie: "Things in UFO have been going very well. we have been touring a lot. we are recording a new record right now that will be out in February 2012. we start the new tour in March in England."
Q: Are you planning any new releases?
Vinnie: "I have some songs written and I want to put together a new band to do a new record. I will start to work on this as soon as some time opens up in my schedule. but I am excited and can't wait to get this together."
Q: Would you like to give us your opinion of Dean guitars, which you have been playing all these years?
Vinnie: "I am very happy with my Dean guitars. I love my signature guitar, which is called the Vinman 2000, and have been using a few of them on tour and recordings for the last three or four years. They really play and sound great! We have an import model coming out soon that will be less expensive than the USA made model. I am very impressed with the quality of the import and am amazed that it will cost around 500 US dollars. There isn't much difference to my USA model. I have been using the imports on tour also."
