Singer/guitarist Dario Grillo's (PLATENS, ex-THY MAJESTIE) VIOLET SUN is a new gothic/power metal act from Italy, led by the soprano Alessandra Amata. The style is described by the band "like a meeting point among SOILWORK, NIGHTWISH, PRODIGY and LACUNA COIL."
