VIRGIN STEELE Announce Play It Loud Festival Cancelation

US power metallers VIRGIN STEELE have announced the cancellation of Italy's Play It Loud Festival, which was scheduled to run from September 25th - 26th in Bolgna.
A message at the band's website reads: "Today we received unfortunate news from our booking agency. It appears that the Play It Loud festival has been cancelled.
As you can imagine, we were very sorry to hear this, for we had been looking forward to performing for all our friends in Italy once again... Fear not, we will make it a priority to return to your shores as soon as possible."
As previously reported, Virgin Steele have been confirmed for next year's edition of the Headbangers Open Air festival, which is set to take place in July 2010 in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, Germany. Virgin Steele will perform on July 31st.
Confirmed acts for the bill now include: BATTLEAXE, BLOODFEAST, CULPRIT, DER KAISER, JAG PANZER, RAVEN, ROCK GODDESS, ROXXCALIBUR, TRENCH HELL and VIRGIN STEELE.
