WACHENFELDT Featuring ENTOMED Bassist Victor Brandt; New EP Available May 30th

Swedish death metal act WACHENFELDT, featuring ENTOMED bassist Victor Brandt, will release a new EP, entitled Colophon, on May 30th via Sliptrick Records. The EP was produced at Studio Soulless by GRAVE frontman Ola Lindgren, and will be available via download/streaming platforms worldwide.

The group’s lineup is rounded out by drummer Jon Skare (OOF EXPLAIN, SIGN), guitarist Martin Bjorklund, and founder and violin player Thomas von Wachenfeldt.
A press release describes the music as “black stained, gloomy death metal” with lyrics that feature “the immortal words of Aleister Crowley, Charles Baudelaire and E.A Poe along with two instrumental compositions based on The Pentagram and Le Chat.”
