After 13 cursed years, WITCHERY are proud to present their first ever promo video. And it was worth every minute to wait because it has everything a real metal video needs: the Devil, fire, destruction, WAAAAAAAAAAR – no naked witches, sorry.

The video for the title track of their just released 5th album, Witchkrieg, was directed by Daniel Larrson (THE HAUNTED, ZONARIA) and produced by Jensen's The Haunted buddy Anders Bjoerler.

Jensen (The Haunted), Sharlee D’Angelo (ARCH ENEMY, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS), Rickard Rimfält (SEANCE), Martin Axe (OPETH, BLOODBATH) and new vocalist Legion (ex-MARDUK, ex-DEVIAN) got together in Stockholm in early May to shoot all scenes, but they waited until early June to film some extra scenes in London with SLAYER's Kerry King, who played the guest solo on the track.

Jensen: "Thank God I'm not a huge fan of METALLICA. I am a huge fan of Slayer, tho... and Kerry agreed to do a guest solo for the new Witchery album AND to appear in the video. James would never have done anything like that... So, sit back and enjoy, boys and girls... The title track from the new Witchery album, 'Witchkrieg', featuring, none other than… Mr. Kerry Fucking King."

Check out the video below.

Witchkrieg was released by Century Media Records June 21st in Europe and June 29th in North America. In case you are still not convinced to buy the album, go to the band's MySpace page and listen to 'From Dead To Worse' featuring Andy LaRoque (KING DIAMOND) or 'The Reaver' featuring Gary Holt and Lee Altus of EXODUS. Or just die.
