Lion recently issued the following update:

"Guys... I just wanted to update everyone on what has been happening with the band, the tour and everything else. I am happy to announce that I have hooked up with the road manager from hell who is going to take this baby to a whole new level. I am honored to say that Jack Paar will be representing Mandy Lion from this point on. Jack is a multi talented juggernaut of a manager and exactly what this project needed!

The other big news is that I have a brand new line-up and it is INCREDIBLE to say the least. The new guitar player is Rick Plester. To call this guy a great guitar player would be like calling King Kong kind of a big monkey. The man is a FREAK! I have played with some awesome guitarists such as Jake E. Lee and George Lynch but this guy takes the cake! You guys will have to see him to believe it.

Then there is the new bassist. His name is Jon Purpura and you might know him from a band called DRIVEN BY HATE. He is one tough looking SOB with tons of tone and a HUGE groove. He is the perfect compliment to Rick's fire works and truly worthy of taking over for the legendary Jimmy Bain. In short... Jon kicks major ass!

I also have a new drummer and his name is Pete Holmes. Many of you know him from his work with Ian Gillan, MSG or Ted Nugent. The man is AMAZING! Having had BLACK SABBATH's Vinnie Appice, SCORPIONS' James Kottack and MOTÖRHEAD's Mikkey Dee, I am not easily impressed but this guy is absolutely out of control! You guys are going to love him. So, the new band is better than ever and ready to devastate!!!

Many of you have been asking about adding shows in your area and my people are working on that as we speak. Keep those messages and comments about doing shows in your neighborhood coming because these pages are being monitored and if there is enough demand in a certain area I will surely end up there sooner or later.

I cannot wait to see you all on the road my friends..."
