A promo night has been scheduled for this year’s Z Rock festival. It will happen on May 16th in Nottingham, Salutaion Inn and will feature EDEN live. The show starts at 10:30 PM, visit myspace.com/zrockfest for more details.

The same Saturday, Z promoter Mark Alger will be live on air with Chris Nelson on Phoenix Radio between 5 and 7PM (GMT).

In other news, festival performer TED POLEY has issued a message to all those attending Z Rock 09:

“The band and I are looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at Z Rock Fest! We are packed and ready to roll! We have our ipods filled and charged, passports, visas and yes- flight tickets secured, although there does seem to be some mistake with my first class seat being a bit closer to the tail than originally anticipated...but I have been assured that even though our seats are in the rear of the aircraft, its still First Class and we wont know the difference anyway after a few in-flight cocktails to rehearse for the actual gig drinking. We will have very little time to socialize on this quick trip, since we will be arriving late on the evening of the first show night, but I do hope to get there in time to catch WIGWAM. That will depend on the good people at the Customs/Immigration dept. and how fast we can get through Heathrow and how much in-flight drink rehearsing we manage to get in before the Xanax kicks in. The next day will be spent doing some quality sleeping to recover from the in-flight rehearsal drinking and late evening WigWamery,and I will probably wrangle up a room rehearsal and some of those little tasty chicken pies and Cadburys to quell the munchies, but I will certainly try to find some quality time for a quick meet and greet, or, if pre-shower, a smell and sell (that’s where we hug for a photo and then you buy a CD or an 8 x 10 photo and I sign it). Can’t wait to be back in the UK again, the band and I are very much looking forward to the adventure. See you soon!”
