Z Rock Festival '09 - VON GROOVE's Appearance In Doubt

Organizers of the Z Rock Festival, taking place May 29th - 30th at JB's in Dudley, England, have issued the following update:
"VON GROOVE a potential problem.As always we like to keep you informed on aspects concerning Z Rock. We have worked long and hard to try and ensure that no problems could occur through any fault on our behalf. It is therefore extremely frustrating to advise that we have not had contact with Von Groove (VG) for sometime, despite awaiting approval of flight times, work permit details etc. We have made numerous chase up calls, left voice messages and emails and we are still waiting to hear back from them. Obviously flights are now dramatically increasing in price and we are running out of time re. permits. We therefore made the decision to move on and repalce the band IF we have still not heard from them by midnight Sunday UK time. We will continue trying to make contact over the weekend but felt it was only right that we brought the supporters of the show up to speed.
This is a major disappointment for us epecially when we know we will be announcing another high profile addition to Saturday in 48 hours."
