AC/DC On The Cover Of Rolling Stone

AC/DC site Electric Shock reports:
"It took 27 years for Rolling Stone magazine in the US to finally acknowledge AC/DC is worthy of appearing on the cover of the magazine after the band first hit #1 in the States, but it happened today, for their new October 30th issue. Their last major feature on the band appeared 28 years ago to the day, in their October 30th, 1980 issue.Excellent article by David Fricke (who's written album liner notes for some of the recent Epic reissues), who even talked to George Young for the feature. The magazine also includes an exclusive photo session done for this issue - go pick it up at your newsstand."
AC/DC officially kicked off their North American tour at Wachovia Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA in front of a sold out crowd of 8,000 people. The band played nearly the identical set that was witnessed by 3,000 specially-invited fans from around the world on October 26th at the same venue - see video below.
