Lee Rondganger from Thewest.com.au is reporting:
Australian organisers for the much-anticipated AC/DC Black Ice tour are still locked in negotiations with promoters in Japan to postpone a scheduled tour there so that they can hold a third concert in Perth.
AC/DC promoter, Garry Van Egmond, said he has not been able to reach an agreement yet with the Black Ice Tour promoters in Japan, but he was optimistic.
“We still don’t know yet. Hopefully soon,” he said.
AC/DC’s stopover in Perth on their Black Ice Tour became the fastest-selling concert in WA history, when all 40,000 tickets to their first show on March 6 were snapped up in just seven minutes.
A second Subiaco Oval date on March 8 sold out before noon on Monday.
AC/DC has sold a staggering 500,000 tickets around Australia - more than double the amount sold for their last tour in 2001.
