AC/DC - Vintage Bon Scott Photos Available
May 17, 2008, 16 years ago
The following report is courtesy of Thevine.com.au:
Original lead singer for AC/DC, Bon Scott, was a charismatic pocket rocket. How else to explain the lasting fascination with the little man?
His legacy endures 28 years after his death, to the point where he's the subject of a new exhibition in his hometown of Fremantle W.A. The Bon Scott Project is a piece intended to bring together the work of 19 artists responding to the life and times of Bon Scott. From photography, stencil, fashion, artwork and music, the project aims to celebrate and critique the life of the singer.
The exhibition is on at the Fremantle Arts Centre. It opens this Friday 16 May, and runs until June 29. For all the details and examples of some of the work, have a look at the project website. But in the lead up we decided to trawl through the archives of Fairfax Digital (hi affiliation!) and dig up some rarely seen gems. Enjoy.
