ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffmann will appear live on WJCU’s Metal On Metal radio program on Friday, August 27 at 6:30 p.m. (EST). Hoffmann will discuss the band’s new line-up, Blood Of The Nations album and forthcoming US tour.

Listen at 88.7 FM in the Cleveland area or streamed live worldwide at Wjcu.org.

“As a long-time fan going back several years before the Breaker album, I never believed the band would sound this good when first hearing the news about Mark Tornillo joining", says Metal On Metal host Bill Peters. "It's hard to imagine anybody but the legendary Udo Dirkschneider fronting Accept. They tried it with a different singer (David Reece) in 1989 on the Eat The Heat album but it did not go over too well. Blood Of The Nations is my favorite album of 2010 so far. This is one of the best heavy metal comeback stories in recent memory. Everything you have heard from overseas is true. Accept are back!”

Despite the group having not releasing a new studio album in fourteen years, Accept's stature amongst metalheads has continued to grow, and is about to be taken to a whole new level, as the group has announced they are back in action once more.

Joining veteran band members Wolf Hoffmann (guitar), Peter Baltes (bass), Herman Frank (guitar) and Stefan Schwarzmann (drums) is former TT QUICK singer Mark Tornillo - resulting in an absolutely powerful line-up, as evidenced by their brand new album, Blood Of The Nations, which was released in Europe tomorrow (August 20th) via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD - which is out now in Europe - will be released in Japan on September 4th and in North America on September 7th via Nuclear Blast.

The twelve-track, 80-plus minute long disc was recorded at Backstage Studio in Derbyshire, England, with acclaimed British producer and SABBAT guitarist Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, MASTERPLAN).

Wolf sums it up plain and simple: “Something amazing has happened. We seem to have been transformed from one world into another…these new songs simply bursted out of a vault that has been locked up for too long! We’re not sure where 'Blood Of The Nations' and all this new excitement will ultimately take us; we only know one thing - We never had it this good!”

And to support Blood Of The Nations, Accept will be launching a full US tour, of which the first confirmed dates have just been released. Due to Accept prolonged absence from the concert trail, the buzz surrounding these dates has been overwhelming, resulting in the first dates selling out instantly. The tour kicks off on September 9th in Atlanta, GA, with a headlining performance as part of the multi-band ProgPower USA XI festival, and will run throughout the rest of the month and into October - with more confirmed dates coming shortly. This string of US dates will come off recent performances in other parts of the world, including a German show opening for AC/DC and headlining the Sonisphere Festival in Romania and Turkey - all of which resulted in Accept's sets receiving rave reviews in the press - as well as a forthcoming mammoth Japanese show in October (as part of Loud Park 10), which will see Accept playing alongside HALFORD, and STONE SOUR, among others.

All these years later, Accept remain as potent as ever - and soon, you will be able to experience their newfound metallic strength via 'Blood Of The Nations' and on a concert stage near you!
