Therockradio.com is reporting:

AEROSMITH was forced to cancel its summer tour after frontman Steven Tyler fell off the stage while performing in Sturgis, South Dakota on August 6th. While at the MTV Video Music Awards, we asked guitarist Joe Perry how Tyler has been feeling these days: "You know, you're going to have to ask his manager about that. We don't have the same manager anymore. And I haven't talked to him in about a month. So I don't know what he's doing."

Perry's upcoming solo album, Have Guitar, Will Travel is due out on October 6th via Roman Records. 30 second clips of all the songs from the new album (listed below) are available here.

'We've Got a Long Way To Go'

'Slingshot'

'Do You Wonder'

'Somebody's Gonna Get'

(Their Head Kicked In Tonight)'

'Heaven and Hell'
