AEROSMITH Singer's Concord Appearance Cancelled

Ray Duckler from Concordmonitor.com is reporting:
AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler, whose appearance in Concord, NH this month would have raised money to fight substance abuse among young people, will not perform because of an addiction to prescription medicine.
It's unknown if Tyler's multimedia show, originally set for Jan. 23 at the Capitol Center for the Arts, will be rescheduled, said Kat Strange, communications director for Child and Family Services, a key sponsor of the show.
"Our agency and the people working with the artist's management all agree that we want to reschedule this date," Strange said yesterday. "Given the serious health concerns Mr. Tyler is facing, you just can't pick a day, but that's Plan A."Refunds for ticket purchases will be made by mail. Ric Waldman, director of programming at the Capitol Center, said ticket holders should expect refunds within two weeks for the 1,000 tickets sold by the theater. Child and Family Services will mail refunds for the $200 VIP tickets, which would have provided fans direct access to Tyler before the show.
All 1,300 tickets were sold in four hours, the fastest the Capitol Center has ever sold out for a show.
Tyler's charity event, titled Dream On: An Intimate Evening With Steven Tyler, was to have included several segments. The singer and Sunapee homeowner was scheduled to sing two songs, play piano, conduct a half-hour question-and-answer session, show concert footage, and relay stories about life on the road and his struggles with addiction.
