According to Myfoxboston.com, the internet is starting to stack up with pricey Steven Tyler memorabilia and some say Tyler’s new American Idol gig is giving collectors a renewed interest in all things AEROSMITH.
The Hard Rock Café in Boston has its own Aerosmith collection which brings in fans from all over the world. Hot items online for sale include autographed posters and even the rocker's sunglasses, going for $2,500 or a best offer online.

Tyler's appearance on American Idol is also affecting sales of old Aerosmith songs. The band's 1998 power ballad, 'I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing' is currently #19 on Apple’s iTunes Songs chart, and Aerosmith’s 1973 hit 'Dream On' is #61. The band's Big Ones collection from 1994 is #25 on iTunes' Albums chart.
“So far, Steven Tyler has been a pretty striking presence on Idol,” says Richard Rushfield, author of American Idol: The Untold Story. “He’s a wild character, and he’s pretty much pushed Simon Cowell out of people’s minds in just two weeks.”
