LoudTrax conducted an interview with Airbourne singer Joel O'Keeffe recently. The following are some highlights from the interview:
On living in the studio while recording the No Guts No Glory album: "Sometimes we’d come back drunk from the pub and accidentally smash in to the microphones and we’d have to re set everything up. But apart from the times when we threw up all over the joint, and have to dry up the mics, it was great. From now on, we decided the best way to record an album is to sleep and live in the studio."
On recording live: "I think the only way a rock ‘n roll band should record is in the same room. To get the best out of the band, you’ve got to get them in the same room!"
