AMANDA SOMERVILLE Gearing Up For Sirens Of Metal Festival, Setlist "Is Going To Be Quite The Spectrum"

Vocalist Amanda Somerville (HDK, AVANTASIA, KISKE / SOMERVILLE ) has checked in with the following update:
"Helllllllllllllllllo!Just a little reminder that I'm headlining the Sirens Of Metal Festival this Friday, August 13th (yes, a metal fest on Friday the 13th - gotta love that!). That's going to be at Blondie's in Detroit, Michigan on 2281 Fort St. right down by the river. Doors open at 6:00pm! It's going to be a lot of fun!
Here's the line-up with me at the show (not necessarily in this order):
- PUBLIK PARKING (from my home town, Flint, Michigan!)- MOUND ROAD ENGINE (Detroit, MI)
- MAXINE PETRUCCI (Detroit, MI)
- DESDEMON (NY)
- KOBRA AND THE LOTUS (Canada)
Aaaaaaand - da-da-da-DUM! I'm going to have some pretty great guys backing me up for this show and I'm very excited about it.
- Sander Gommans (ex-AFTER FOEVER / HDK) will be doing a guest appearance on guitar!- Paulo (MILES BEYOND) on guitar
- David Teggerdine on guitar
- Mark Burnash (ex-CROP CIRCLE) on bass
- Scott Fisher (CROP CIRCLE) on drums
- Ashley Peacock (THE TIMES) will be doing a guest appearance on vocals
My setlist will be comprised of songs off of my solo albums, plus some songs I've written or co-written for/with other metal bands and projects (for example, HDK and Kiske-Somerville) so it's going to be quite the spectrum, musically speaking. Make no mistake: we will rock out hard!
There's also a round trip bus we've arranged that will be leaving from Flint, going down to Detroit for the concert for $30.00 (**).
