ANA KEFR Announce The Day Of Rapture Show - "Be There; Your Salvation Depends Upon It"
May 10, 2011, 13 years ago
LA-based extreme prog metallers ANA KEFR have issued the following update:
Next Saturday, May 21st, Ana Kefr presents The Rapture Show at the Glass House in Pomona, California. To give some background on such a strange show title, there is a widespread movement of believers who think that on Saturday, May 21st, 2011 Jesus will be returning to Earth, that the rapture will begin. The rapture includes such astounding occurrences as the raising of the dead, the assembly of all 'true believers' in the sky to meet their messiah and, most importantly, the appearance of Jesus to begin the day of reckoning, Judgment Day. There are billboards around the country proclaiming that the Bible guarantees this date as the day of rapture, tracts and pamphlets are being passed around...so we felt that there is no better way to spend Judgment Night than with Ana Kefr.
Details:

In addition, thanks to a sneaky camera in the audience, there are two short clips that feature Ana Kefr performing with Nikki Simmons (female guest vocalist on The Burial Tree) from our CD release show last Saturday at the Whisky A Go-Go. The sound quality isn't perfect, but it's still a look at the show for those who couldn't make it. Check the out below."
Ana Kefr's new album, The Burial Tree, was produced and mixed by Ana Kefr and David Franklin, engineered by David Franklin. The cover art ("The Watcher") was created by Dutch artist Bianca Van Der Werf. Check it out below:
