ANCIENT VVISDOM will release their sophomore album, Deathlike, on February 4th in the UK, February 5th in North America, and February 8th throughout Europe, via Prosthetic Records.

The band have released 'Deathlike', the title track from the album, digitally through iTunes and Amazon MP3. The song has been described by vocalist Nathan Opposition as "a way of life, an ongoing war in the human mind conquering fear over death. It asks the question each human being must ask themselves - an effort to find life on earth."

Ancient VVisdom, which consists of singer/songwriter Nathan Opposition, his brother Michael Jochum (electric guitar) and acoustic guitarist Justin "Ribs" Mason, were seen earlier this year touring the US as openers for GHOST's headlining tour.

Nathan Opposition explains the meaning of Deathlike: “Deathlike is a force of its own. Much like death itself, it is enviable, it is real, it is a part of everyday life. Life is limited, death is forever. Life is all we have. Enjoy it while you can. Reality is yours to make or break. It is your one and only shot at success or failure. Sink or swim, fight or flight, win or lose, death or victory, you must choose. Deathlike gives you the option, it is your interpretation, it is, as life is, entirely relative to the individual’s perspective. This is the deathlike world we live in, this is a deathlike world I see.”

Ancient VVisdom are confirmed for a tour alongside blackened-prog stalwarts ENSLAVED, on their Winter Rites 2013 tour, which also features doom metallers PALLBEARER. The three-week tour starts on January 30th in Philadelphia.
