Guitarist Marko Tervonen (ANGEL BLAKE, ex-THE CROWN) has issued the following update:

"Hello there!!

It's now official. What is? That a new band has emerged. Why? Well, check this out...

For about a year ago I finally figured out what I need to do musically to feel "fulfilled". I came to the conclusion that I need to make music for 3 bands to cover the "spectrum" so to say.

1. Angel Blake. My precious Angel Blake where I really have an outlet for heavy melancholic music. Actually Angel Blake will evolve into something that is a bit more heavier. I really liked the style of songs like 'Anywhere But Here', 'Defenseless', 'Descended'... The more up-tempo styled songs. That is the direction I will go with the next album.

So all the "soft" ideas will in the future go to:

2. LADY MOURNING. A brand new band that 5 min ago got introduced to MySpace. Check out www.myspace.com/ladymourningmusic, there's also a little snippet available there. The big difference is that this music will be sung by a woman, my wife to be honest. So all the sad melodramatic doomy songs that will pop into my head I will give to Lady Mourning in the future. There's a guy in the band called Andreas Tiberto. He takes care of the keyboard, synth, special FX stuff. And the man is simply a genious. Extremely talanted and I'm happy to share this trip with him. So, does the world need another female fronted gothic band? Hell f***ing yes! These songs are turning out really killer and the atmosphere in the music is really unique I must say!! I hear weird references in my head like MASSIVE ATTACK, Blade Runner (yeah the movie), MUSE, KENT, WOVEN HAND, etc. Well, nevermind, that's just my perspective on the sound.

3. DOBERMANN. Hell yeah!! I love death metal and to be working again with my Crown homies is just incredible. I love it. The album will be finished when it's finished. We don't have a deadline for it, we are really making sure that this will kill kill kill!!!! When the album is done, you'll here more about this band.

So yeah, that's my grande plan. I really need those 3 elements in my life, and I'm happy to say that I really feel that dividing my love for creating music into 3 different bands, will make every band more solid. With this little "what alcoholics refer to a moment of clarity" (Go Jules!) I also feel very creative again. I got about 15 songs spinning in my head that I will start demoing very soon."
