Georgia-based glam rockers ASPHALT VALENTINE have issued the following update:

"Guitarist Chris Meyer has left the band Asphalt Valentine to pursue his solo material and lead his own project. Chris is currently writing material in Nashville. We would like to thank Chris for his contributions and wish him well in his new endeavors.

Chavis Records recording artists Asphalt Valentine is looking for a new experienced lead guitarist with a great Hard Rock look and style. Must be able to sing back up vocals, have a good sense of humor and be a team player. We have a nationally released cd as well as a world wide following. You must be willing to tour and contribute to the collective writing process of new material. We are a band of brothers!

We dig BUCKCHERRY, AEROSMITH, MÖTLEY CRÜE, HINDER, THE STONES, AC/DC, PAPA ROACH, GUNS N' ROSES etc...you get the picture. Male 25-40. If you can tear up the fret board but still understand melody and a hook, hours in a conversion van with a trailer then you are our guy! You can check the band out at www.chavisrecords.net and www.myspace.com/asphaltvalentine2. Auditions are already underway.

Please contact the band; sbrubaker@chavisrecords.net and please provide photos, link to a dpk or MySpace page and some background."
