ASPHYX Live Update, Working On A "Special" Release

2013 promises to be another busy year for Dutch doom death metal pioneers ASPHYX, as the band continues to promote their latest and possibly most acclaimed album release ever, Deathhammer, with several live shows and high class festival appearances, such as Hellfest (France) and Roadburn (The Netherlands). And Asphyx are also working on a special next release.

Drummer and founding member Bob Bagchus comments on the upcoming plans as follows: “Almost a year after the release of Deathhammer it's time for a new goal! This time it will be a special split EP, for which we will contribute an own new song as well as one or two cover tracks. More details will be revealed soon! As far as our upcoming live shows, the one at Roadburn festival will be quite special…Asphyx is deeply honoured to play at that outstanding event and we will perform a special doom-set, which will include the heaviest tracks we have in our discography!
