Rock Star and Super Star from the We Are One Foundation, whose organization is aimed at raising awareness to the ever-growing problem of substance abuse among our youth via the upcoming Serenity CD, have enlisted AUTOMAN frontman/ex-KILLER DWARFS drummer Darrel Millar to sing on the track 'Do It For You', which is being tracked on December 14th in Toronto, ON.
There will be two versions of 'Do It For You' on the Serenity album - the other features vocals from an aspiring male Chicago-area student/singer which will be the bonus track for the album. More information will be revealed soon.
Names already involved in the project include: Cherie Currie (Runaways), Stevie Rachelle, (TUFF), George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB), Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA), Carlos Cavazo (QUIET RIOT, RATT), Mark Slaughter (SLAUGHTER), Zak Stevens (SAVATAGE, CIRCLE II CIRCLE), Jon Oliva (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA), Bruce Kulick (KISS, UNION), Howard Leese (HEART), Bob Kulick (MEAT LOAF), David Schultz (GOO GOO DOLLS, BERLIN), and Veronica Freeman (BENEDICTUM).
Twin brothers Marc and Kris Kancler started the We Are One Foundation last year. They legally changed their names to Rock Star and Super Star, respectively, to make them more appealing and approachable to the same kids that they intend to help.
