BEHEMOTH's Nergal Checks In From OZZFest
July 13, 2007, 17 years ago
BEHEMOTH's website has been updated with the following message from frontman Nergal, reporting from the OZZFests tour:
"It's just started and I can tell you it feels great! Yesterday we spent the whole day getting ready for these shows. Got a lot of new equipment (new ESP guitars! YEZZZ!) and we got new road crew and I'm really happy it's all working fine. The first show was better than I expected tho it's always a struggle to go on in full sun wearing all this gear, armors and masks. I wanted to thank all the people out there who came down, stood the whole day in the heat. You seriously rock! Earlier today I saw NILE, LAMB OF GOD, HATEBREED and I've just seen Ozzy and let me tell you something, I'm blown away! This is the ultimate metal tour and we couldn't be happier about being a part of it.
The Apostasy is coming out here in a few days... I'm excited! Juuuhuuuu!
We are heading to Canada in a few hours. I'd better catch some sleep now!
Stay tuned friends, I'll keep you updated!"
Behemoth secured the direct support, non-rotating slot right before second stage headliners Hatebreed. The group's new album, The Apostasy, is set for a July 17th release on Century Media.
