Birmingham Councillors Wants To Give OZZY OSBOURNE City's Top Honour

According to the Birmingham Mail, OZZY OSBOURNE should be given the Freedom Of The City Of Birmingham, according to leading city councillors.
The BLACK SABBATH frontman deserves the city’s top honour because he is the ‘world’s most famous Brummie’ and a credit to the city, they claim.
Council head of children’s social services Matt Bennett made his call during a council debate on Birmingham’s pop and rock music heritage and economy.
Revealing he was in a punk band during his teens, Coun Bennett (Cons, Stockland Green) said: “I studied in Liverpool and they do know how to make the most of their music. Yes they have THE BEATLES but they do like to go on and on about it.
“So I say give Ozzy Osborne the Freedom Of The City. He is the most famous Brummie on the planet. A few years ago he played for the Queen, and if he is good enough for the Queen he is good enough for Birmingham.”Read more at the Birmingham Mail.
