BOLT THROWER's Karl Willetts Lays Down Vocals For New BENEDICTION Album
May 1, 2008, 16 years ago
Birmingham, UK-based metallers BENEDICTION have issued the following update in regards to their forthcoming new album, Killing Music:
"We had Karl Willetts from BOLT THROWER come into Mick Kenney's Necrodeath Studio to lay down some vocals on the AMEBIX cover 'Largactyl' that we recorded. With payment to Karl of cans of Stella Artois and Benson & Hedges cigarettes he roared out as only Karl can and made this version of the track a brutal little affair!Helping out on the chorus lines was The Fog from FROST. All this was captured on film and we are sure this will see the light of day when the album is released.
More friends putting in an appearance over the next week or so. The mixing is close to finishing so it's time for us to lighten up and have a bit of fun doing the cover songs with our friends."
As previously reported, Killing Music is set to feature the following tracks (in no particular order): 'Hell's Gate', 'Cold, Deathless, Unrepentant', 'Killing Music', 'Dripping With Disgust', 'Dissembler', 'Rats In The Mask (Controlopolis)', 'Betrayer', 'Immaculate Facade', 'They Bleed', 'Frozen Heart', 'The Grey Man', 'As Her Skin Weeps', 'They Must Die Screaming', 'Seeing Through My Eyes' (BROKEN BONES cover), 'Largactyl' (AMEBIX cover).
Benediction's are expected to issue Killing Music through Nuclear Blast Records this year. Updates to follow.
