BOOK OF BLACK EARTH Announce New Album Details
April 5, 2011, 13 years ago
Seattle, WA blackened death metallers, BOOK OF BLACK EARTH, will release their new album, The Cold Testament, on May 24th. The Cold Testament is the follow up to 2008's concept album, Horoskopus.
The album was tracked with Chris Common (PELICAN, THE SWORD) at the Red Room Studio in Seattle, WA and mixed and mastered by Dan Swano (BLOODBATH, NASUM, OPETH) at Unisound in Sweden.
Vocalist/guitarist TJ Cowgill comments on the new album: "Thematically, The Cold Testament will be a little looser than Horoskopus, but there is still an underlying current to both the sound of the album and lyrically. This will, in my opinion, be our strongest, most haunting offering, closing another chapter in the Book Of Black Earth."
Tracklisting for The Cold Testament is as follows:
‘Weight Of The World’
‘Cross Contamination’
‘Antarctica’
‘Irritating Spectre’
‘Termination’
‘Research And Destroy’
‘Road Dogs From Hell’
‘I See Demons’
The Cold Testament can be preordered on its own, or in a bundle with an exclusive t-shirt design through Prosthetic Records' webstore.
The band will hit the road later this year in support of The Cold Testament.
