Hollywoodlife.com has spoken to a source very close to BRET MICHAELS who say that the POISON frontman might actually sign on to do a show for CBS called Rock Star: Supernova. The show originally ran for two seasons between 2006-08 and was hosted by Dave Navarro (JANE'S ADDICTION) and Brooke Burke. Now Bret might be bringing the show back by hosting it.
“He’s been approached by numerous networks,” says our source. “But it looks as though Rock Star could definitely be the one.”Rock Star: Supernova featured 15 contestants competing to become the lead vocalist for a newly formed supergroup featuring MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee, former METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted, and former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke.
