May 14, 2010, 14 years ago
Australian metalcore band BURIED IN VERONA have announced they will release their second album Saturday Night Sever on Riot! Entertainment (via Warner Music Australia) on June 4th. Saturday Night Sever is the follow up
to 2008’s debut Circle The Dead.
January 2010 saw Buried In Verona travel to Gothenburg, Sweden for six weeks to begin recording with the legendary Fredrik Nordstrom (BRING ME THE HORIZON, IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DIMMU BORGIR etc). Fredrik and his assistant Henrik Udd both sat in on the entire process to produce, mix and master their second album Saturday Night Sever.
According to a press release: “With Saturday Night Sever the bar has been raised, every avenue of metal has been exhausted on this album. hardcore, metalcore, death metal have all paid a huge part in this album, Buried In Verona can no longer be categorised into a particular style of metal. This is a blistering, intense and technical slab of metal.”
Buried In Verona will be touring nationally in June, July and again in September. International supports have already been locked in for coming months. They are also looking to tour the US in 2010-2011.
