BW&BK Exclusive: DEADLY BLESSING - Replacement Vocalist Found
December 12, 2006, 17 years ago
After legendary vocalist Ski abruptly quit the New Jersey based metallers DEADLY BLESSING, to devote his time/life to God and his Christian metal outfit FAITH FACTOR, the remaining members of the band (including DORO/CHRIS CAFFERY bassist, Nick Douglas) were on the lookout for a replacement. In recent years the band has had a new lease on life, playing a few German festivals, the BW&BK; 6-Pack Weekend and most recently, a date in Puero Rico. Tony Sgro (guitar, aka Tony Kerr) announced, "We have a new singer. His name is Stephen Childs. He runs a local music school, called Musically Speaking and teaches voice and guitar. He sounds like a cross between Ray Alder (FATES WARNING) and a little Bruce Dickinson (IRON MAIDEN)."
BW&BK; has been offered the opportunity to hear the new line-up rehearse, so watch this space for future updates.
