According to Calgarysun.com, AEROSMITH and its western Canadian tour promoter have settled their legal differences in advance of a Calgary concert Friday night.
A “discontinuance of action” filed last week in connection with a $6-million lawsuit launched by Keystone Entertainment Inc. said the case has been settled.
“The plaintiff hereby discontinues its claim against the defendants pursuant to a settlement agreement between the parties without costs,” said the document.
The document was filed by Calgary lawyer Lorne Scott.
Scott was not available for comment Thursday.
The band’s Atlanta counsel, Jeffrey Smith, could also not be reached.
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed on the file at Calgary Court of Queen’s Bench.
Keystone filed a lawsuit against Aerosmith, its corporate umbrella, Vindaloo Music Inc., their managers and the five members last June 1, the same date its 2010 summer tour was announced.
