A message at CANNIBAL CORPSE's "Tome of The Mutilated" Forums reveals that the re-release of the band's Vile album (1996), due on March 1st, 2007, will include a bonus DVD, entitled Vile Live.
The message in the Forum reads: "The main part of the disc is a show from the Berkeley Square on February 3rd, 1997. Some of you may have been there. It was shot by myself, Dan Nicholson, and Scott Stanton. using three old school Hi8 cameras. Dan Nicholson recorded the sound, and Scott did the sound mastering, tweaking it in soundforge.
I did the editing, and it turned out pretty good for just three angles of bootleg style footage. There's alot of fast cuts, and alot of long lingering shots as well. Good guitar solo coverage, and great footage of George. There's no effects. Just straight clean cuts. As for extras, there are also four songs from the second night's performance on February 4th, 1997 with two cameras only and my sound.
Scott did an awesome job on the menus, titling and authoring. He used a cool bloody dripping letter font that looks really good. There's a main screen, and a chapter selection screen. Theres bloody knives in the chapter selection, and some gory pictures on the main screen. There's a band member introduction at the beginning, and an explanation how the video came to be.
I think most people will be pretty stoked on it. I think cannibal fans will dig it. I've watched it at least twenty times already and I still think it looks cool."
The tracklisting:
