CARCASS To Visit Australia, Japan In May; New Audio Interview With Bill Steer Available
March 17, 2014, 10 years ago
Metal Kaoz recently conducted an audio interview with CARCASS guitarist Bill Steer, who talked about the cancellation of the Hell & Heaven Festival and gave all the latest info on what's cooking in the Carcass camp, including a visit to Australia and Japan after the upcoming US tour. An excerpt follows:
Q: This tour runs until the mid of April, then you have announced some European summer festivals, so what's next?
A: "Between the US and the festival we'll go to Japan and Australia. So pretty much all of our time is taken up for the next few months. I don't
think we'll have a lot of free time until maybe the autumn of this year."
Q: And is it way too early to even think about the next possible Carcass album?
A: "Not necessarily because we've agreed that we'd like to do something. As I say towards the end of the year, maybe, I dunno, October or something, it could be realistic to get together in a rehearsal room and start humming out a few ideas. I hope so."
